Pearsall is a rural center: prospective customers should attend a virtual WIOA GIS before proceeding; sessions are Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. (Zoom ID 897 5219 2408) and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. (Zoom ID 850 0446 9045). They may also walk in and ask for Julie Roxanne at the front desk; she can contact Carmen Rodriguez, Career Advisor, who explains requirements and schedules interested customers when available. If Carmen is unavailable, staff may suggest returning later that day or the next day, or direct the customer to other staff. Bring photo ID, proof of residency, and Social Security card. Linda Ventura said applicants must meet eligibility requirements, be registered and work in Texas, and take the Texas Essentials assessment (math and reading) for vocational training. Customers choose and research their school; electricians are a targeted occupation. For an ATI ITA, staff may request a cost breakdown, curriculum and schedule, class start/acceptance information, and refund policy; the current training cap stated by the center supervisor is $7,500, with higher amounts requiring additional approval.
