O'Connor accepts walk-ins, but customers may not be seen because career advisors are busy; staff prefer customers attend orientation. Staff screen eligibility, considering factors such as low income, dislocated-worker status, and SNAP or TANF receipt. Customers unable to attend in person can call (210) 822-7640 to sign up for a virtual session.
In-person WIOA orientation is every Wednesday at 10:00 AM (official flyer; staff confirmed Oct 9). Book 9:15 AM (45 minutes early) so they check in and staff help set up their account; late arrivals may be turned away. Tell them they're coming for orientation.
